And in today's aftermarket performance industry there has been an explosion of performance products for the F150 trucks, from the standard F150 truck, to the Raptor. The manufacturers are deeply entrenched in an all out horse power war to provide truck enthusiasts with the the baddest truck they can get. So far Ford is at the front of the lines and doing well. Today's F150 truck enthusiast's have a mind blowing choice of products to choose from.

Vic Edelbrock Jr. of Edelbrock and his crew have done it again. Their E-Force series superchargers are at the leading edge of bolt on performance products. This great supercharger kit is a monument to thoughtfulness and engineering when it comes to leading edge performance and technology. It is by far the best and only true DIY supercharger kit on the market today. We have taken this kit to task and here is what we have found. Edelbrock’s E-Force DIY superchargers opens up a whole new world for the average hot rodder that lacks the knowledge and expertise to pick and choose a super charger system for their truck.

These fully self contained modular type kits don't require a F150 owner to have extensive knowledge of forced induction. All the necessary parts and pieces have been included in this kit for you. Just simply bolt it on and drive away with a whopping 487 Hp. that's it. As a F150 owner you don' have to worry about damaging your trucks engine. The E-Force is a low pressure induction system it is designed for stock block engines. This reduces the possibility of internal engine damage that can be caused by the higher pressure blowers. Edelbrock is able to do this through superior design that takes advantage of cooler air, better flow characteristics and higher quality manufacturing. Unlike other supercharger kits there is nothing else to buy. The E-Force super charger is the most well thought out fully integrated kit you can get. Edelbrock has thought of everything including bigger injectors and a fully integrated 100,000 mile service interval self contained oiling system. There is no need to drill holes in your oil pan or locate a lubrication point for your new supercharger. This eliminates any possibility for oil leaks. There is also a fully self contained water to air 110 square inch inter-cooler with its own pump and heat exchanger.

There are other features that takes this supercharger to the top, making this the only kit you should purchase. Some of the cool features include things like, the inverted design that places the the intercooler on top of the blower section getting it up out of the lifter valley where its away from the heat of the engine. By doing this there are a couple of big advantages. First and foremost is a cooler air charge meaning more fuel and air for more power. Second, it creates longer 14 inch air intake runners for better low end torque. Last, by having the blower underneath the intercooler there is less intake turbulence caused by the sharp ninety degree bends that the other manufactures have to contend with. Other great features like mounting the supercharger backwards to the conventional way others do. This eliminates the need for a jack shaft which uses a belt drive that could fail. The E-force supercharger's drive is located in the front of the blower, another benefit to the backwards mounting is that the throttle body and intake are located up front, making the intake tube much shorter with less bends for better intake flow and less turbulence again a great feature. There is an internal vacum operated bypass valve that helps to reduce or eliminate parasitic power loss when under low power or coasting situations that neutralizes the internal pressures of the super charger. This also helps with mileage. When power is needed just simply push on the small pedal and you have all the power you need.

You can truly bolt this plug-n-play modular E-Force Supercharger on in about 10 hours and drive it away with no waiting for your ECU that you mailed to that “other” blower manufacturer, to be returned. Edelbrock’s supercharger comes complete including a power programmer with all the tunes you need included. It’s all part of the kit.

Auther
Dean B.
